BOWLING IN HAMILTON RESULTS ON SATURDAY With ideal weather conditions and the greens playing perfectly, there were good attendances on most Hamilton bowling greens on Saturday, The main attraction consisted in ordinary draws and club competitions. Bowlers from the Hamilton Club were visitors to Te Awamutu for an inter-club match, while other attractions at outsidA centres were well patronised by Hamilton players. HAMILTON CLUB VISIT TO TE AWAMUTU The main feature of the Hamilton Club on Saturday was the visit to Te Te Awamutu, when 14 teams made the trip and enjoyed an excellent afternoon’s bowling on the Te Awamutu greens. The result was a draw, 7-all for games, the Hamilton club winning on points by a small margin. The games resulted as follows (Hamilton teams mentioned first): —Sims, Musson, Crawshaw, Coombes 20 v. AT HAMILTON EAST The Hamilton East Club’s green was well patronised during the weekend. The president, Mr J. Karton, announced that Mr A. E. Williams had presented gold buttons, to be challenged for. The conditions were that the pair that retained the buttons for the longest period during the current season would receive trophies valued at £1 each.
