ON SCOTTISH COAST a RAIDS BY GERMANS ENGAGEMENT REPORTED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Nov. 4, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 3 Intense aerial activity occurred -n the Firth of Forth area following a report that enemy raiders had approached the Scottish coast. An engagement between British fighters and German raiders is believed to have occurred a few miles to sea from the Firth of Forth. Immediately the preliminary warning was given the fighters took off in the direction of the sea. No sirens were sounded and no sounds of gunfire were heard.
