Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 2 The latest Bank of England returns are:— Issue Department.—Notes in circulation £528,000,000, notes in the banking department £52,200,000, other Government securities £565,600,000, other securities £2,900,000, silver coin £500,000. Banking Department.—Rest £3,200,000, public deposits £10,500,000, bankers’ deposits £114,800,000, other accounts £43,000,000, Government securities £105,300,000, discounts and advances £5,600,000, other securities £22,000,000, notes and coin £53,100,000. Ratio of reserve to liabilities, 31.53 per cent. The Bank of England discount rate is 2 per cent.
