ROAD CYCLING
NORTH ISLAND RACE PALMERSTON N., Saturday Fine weather favoured the start of the Palmerston North-Wellington 100 miles North Island road cycling championship. The Mayor, of Palmerston North, Mr A. E. Mansford, a former road and track cyclist of repute, sent the first man away, T. Young, of Levin, who is over 60 years of age. The field includes 64 riders.
