Copyrlrni) LONDON, November 1 It is to-day stated that certain German airmen who were shot down into the sea during an attack on a convoy on October 21, were rescued in consequence of the excellent work of three British trawlers. A member of the crew of one trawler endeavoured to swim to the sinking plane with a life-line, but was unable to do so because of the strong tide.
