FARM FATALITY

TRACTOR OVERTURNS DRIVER PINNED BENEATH DISCOVERY BY FATHER (Special to Times) ROTORUA, Thursday A fatality occurred on a farm in the Ngakuru settlement, 14 miles from Rotorua, early this afternoon, when a farmer lost his life while ploughing with a tractor. The victim was:— Mr Archibald Wallace, aged 28, single, son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Archibald Wallace. The accident was discovered by Mr Wallace, sen., when he found that the tractor, which his son had been driving, had fallen over a 15ft bank into a creek. The tractor was lying upside down in about 3ft of water, the body of the victim being pinned underneath. It was only with considerable difficulty that the heavy tractor could be raised to release the body.
