POSTED TO RESERVE RECALLED FROM RETIREMENT (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The appointments to the reserve of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces of Colonel R. F. Gambrill, V.D., Colonel N. L. Macky, M.C., and Colonel A. S. Wilder, D. 5.0., M.C., V.D., are included in a long list of appointments gazetted this evening. These three officers, in association with the late Colonel C. R. Spragg, were poste/. to the retired list last year following the issuing of a manifesto on May 18 in which they expressed the view that a statement on defence made at Dargaville by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, was inadequate.
