THE OPPOSITION FORCES MOVE FOR AMALGAMATION (United Press Assn.—dec. Tel. Copyright) CAPETOWN, Nov. 1 The leader of the Nationalist Party, Dr. D. F. Malan, in a speech at Paarl, announced that negotiations were proceeding for the amalgamation of his party and the followers of the former Prime Minister, General Hertzog. Dr. Malan stated that he was prepared to serve under General Hertzog’s leadership.
