FIRST SALE HELD
S. T. COOPER AND COMPANY SUCCESSORS TO J. R. FOW Messrs S. T. Cooper and Company, who have taken over the auctioneering department of J. R. Fow Limited, held their first sale in the mart in Collingwood Street today, when a large amount of poultry, building material, furniture and sundries was put under the hammer. Mr J. It. Fow, who is assisting Mr j Cooper for a time, auctioned the / poultry and Mr Cooper the other ar- \ tides. A good bench of buyers for *•. this opening sale augured well for \ continued success of the business.
