Show Entries Increase
With nearly 3000 entries, exceeding last year’s by 260 the Centennial Spring Show of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association, opened to-day in fine weather. Indications generally are that the farming community is answering well the Government’s request to pursue the normal course of activities despite the war. Many fine animals have come forward.—Press Assn.
