RESIDENCE IN IRAQ GOVERNMENT’S UNDERTAKING (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Nov. 2, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 1 In reply to a question in the House of Commons the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr R. A. Butler, stated the Iraq Government had been informed of the attitude of the British Government to the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem, and the Iraq Government had given assurances that the ex-Mufti would not be allowed to be politically active himself or allow his presence to be used as an occasion for agitation by others.
