Carrying 13.3, Pooley Bridge ran a gallant second in the hurdle rare. The three-year-old Wilson is sufTering soreness and is an unlikely runner* 1 in the Melbourne Cup. Following her absence rroin the track, rumours were current that all was not well with the Caulfield Cup winner Rlvette. Her owner-trainer, H.
