ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS
The sprint record for the Te Rapa course is held by Bambury, who at the Summer meeting of 1933 recorded 1.12 2-5. Whirling ran 1.12 3-5 at the corresponding meeting in 1937. The time of Farland at the spring meeting last year of 1.12 4-5 (erroneously stated to be the record in the New Zealand Turf Register), was equalled by both Gold Day and Paganelli at the Summer meeting of 1932.
