ITALIAN CHANGES
RESHUFFLE IN CABINET ARMY AND FASCIST PARTY ■ United Pres* As&a.—Elec. Tel. CopjrrUHt) LONDON, Oct. 31 A reshuffle in the Italian Cabinet and changes in the Army and Fascist Party were announced officially in Rome this morning. The changes include Marshal Graziani, former Viceroy of Abyssinia, who becomes Chief of the General Staff of the Army in place of General Alberto Pariani; Signor Achille Starace, former secretary of the Fascist Party, who is now chief of the Fascist militia; and Signor Perucci, who has been given the rank of ambassador. Resignation of Ministers Six Ministers have resigned. Some have been assigned to other posts. General Valle has resigned the position of Chief of Staff of the Air Force. Military training will henceforth be part of the curriculum at high schools and universities. Mussolini Turns to Moderates Signor E. Muti, aged 37 years, becomes Secretary of the General Fascist Party. Signor Alfiefi has been appointed Ambassador at large. Signor Teruzzi becomes Minister of Italian Africa, a post which Signor Mussolini hitherto had held. Other new Ministers are: Signoj; Ricci, Corporations; Signor Pavolzffi, Popular Culture; Signor Riccardo. Currency Exchange; Signor Enturie. Communications; Signor Tassinari. Agriculture; Signor Serena. Publie Works; Signor Pricolo, Chief of the Air Staff; General Soddu, Undersecretary for War. Signor Mussolini apparently is turning to the Moderates, who opposed Communism. Some of those displaced were sympathetic to Germany.
