OBITUARY
MR J. J. L. BURKE PROMINENT CATHOLIC (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday The death has occured of Mr J. J. L. Burke, who retired in November, 1937, from the position of RegistrarGeneral of Land for New Zealand. He was District Grand Trustee of the Hibernian Society, a member of the Superior Council of the Society of Si. Vincent De Paul, vice-chair-man of the Wellington Catholic .Trust Board, and secretary of the Eucharistic Congress Comir^.ee.
