One of the strangest court cases recent times took place in Sheik - hupura, India. A man was accused of stealing, and a prosecution witness stated that he had chased the man, caught and handed him over. Accused denied it, and stated that the man couldn’t catch him in a hundred yards. The magistrate pondered a bit, and decided to have a trial race. Fortunately for the accused, he was much the faster man. Therefore the magistrate decided that he could not possibly be the thief and that the other was lying. He dismissed the case!
