DAY OF PRAYER

SPECIAL SUNDAY TOMORROW PARADE IN HAMILTON In conformity with other towns throughout the British Empire, tomorrow will be a day of special prayer in New Zealand churches. In Hamilton a big military parade will be held prior to units attending the morning service at the Cathedral. Members of the National Military Reserve, Classes I and 11, details of the Ist Battalion Waikato Regiment, the Second Medium Battery, New Zealand Artillery, the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band, the Hamilton Citizens’ Band and boy scouts will parade in Ward Street at 10.15 a.m. tomorrow before marching to the Cathedral. Mr H. D. Caro, Mayor of Hamilton, and members of the Borough Council will also attend the service, which will be conducted by the Dean of Hamilton, the Very Rev. T. P. Weatherhog. In the evening the nurses of the Waikato Hospital will attend the service at the Cathedral.
