WARTIME BUDGET
FINANCES OF AUSTRALIA SLIGHT DEFICITS SHOWN (United Press Assn.—Elec. TeL CoDi-rlght) BRISBANE, Sept. 29 No remissions or increases in taxation are contained in the Budget presented by the Treasurer. The revenue is estimated at £20,310,735 and the expenditure at £20,375,437. PERTH, Sept. 29 Slight increases in taxation are provided for in the Budget presented by the Premier. The revenue is estimated at £11,186,012 and the expenditure at £11,217,300. The remission on income tax will be reduced by 10 per cent. The probate duty will be slightly increased.
