POTATO HOARDING
APPARENT EXPLOITATION (Special to Times) WELLINGTON, Wednesday Dr. D. G. McMillan (Government —Dunedin West) asked the Minister o£ Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, in the House ol Representatives to-day, whether he had seen the complaints ol Canterbury potato growers that the importation of potatoes from Canada would prevent them from obtaining high prices for upward of 1000 tons of potatoes they were holding in the expectation of a continuance of the shortage. Dr. McMillian asked whether the Minister would take steps to prevent such apparent exploitation of consumers in the future.
