Valmint had Every Port to assist him over six rurlongs and, as was expected, was going better at the finish In 1.21 1-5. Whenua Joined them at the three furlong* post and had a slight advantage at the finish after running the latter distance In 40 3 - 5 s. Francis Drake Reliehes Going Pern was not doing his beet while traversing four rurlongs In 52 3-ss. The best figures Tor this distance were credited to Francis Drake who recorded 51 3-ss. He handled the going well and finished full of running.
The stableriiates Tea Gong and Spinning Wheel came home from the four furlongs In 525. Tea Gong was going the better though there was not much between them at the finish.
Arter commencing slowly Ivy Wlllonyx ran the last six furlongs of a round In 1.21. Royal Huntress assisted her over the last half-mile in 52 3-ss.
Silver Stick and Mlntlaw ran five furlongs In 1.18. They covered the Drst two In 27 1 -5s and both worked well.
Beeswing finished up useful work by running her last half-mile In 52 1-5 c End Water Fox came home from the three furious post In 40 1-58. Mon Acre was too good for Beverley over six rurlongs In 1.2 2 1-5, after running the first two In 27 3-ss. Orate worked on the »and track where he ran his last three furlongs In 41 2-6 s.
