PRE-WEDDING DANCE
MISS HEPBURN HONOURED A jolly dance was tendered to Miss Nancy Hepburn last Tuesday night in the Rukuhia Hall in honour of her approaching marriage, 'me guest-of-honour, who was dressed in black cloque relieved by a silver sequin coat, was the recipient of a handsome fire-screen and curb, which was presented to her by Mr Morse on behalf of the residents of the district and other friends. Miss Hepburn suitably replied and musical honours were then accorded her.
Mrs Flyger supplied enjoyable dance music, extras being played by Mr J. Raynes, Mr E. Houchen (piano-accordion), Mrs Newson and Mr Newland.
A delicious buffet supper was served.
