AUCKLAND RELIEF FUND
£254 RAISED TO DATE COMPANY’S CONTRIBUTION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Wednesday The relief fund opened by the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, for the dependents of the victims of the Glen Afton mine disaster, has reached £254.
The company intends to give the widows three months’ wages, which is equivalent to a donation of £ISOO.
