Hamilton's Clocks
The disparity in the times of the clocks in We main street of Hamilton have been a bone of contention among residents for many years, and a source of annoyance to visitors. This morning a letter posted in Hamilton last night was received by the reportorial department of the Waikato Times with a large sheet of paper on which was written in large letters. Urgent . . . Discovered at 8.0 a.m. in Hamilton Main Street .... Two Clocks Showing Identical Time . . . Signed.—Observer.”
