LONDON, Sept. 26
The Warsaw radio station announces that Gestapo agents assassinated General Baron Werner von Fritsch, the former Commander-in-Chief of the German Army, who Atas reported to have been killed in action on the Warsaw front. The information comes from the depositions of German prisoners. An official broadcast emphasised Hitler’s warm feelings toward General von Fritsch.
