DURATION OF WAR

OPINION OF THE NAZIS “MATTER OF MATHEMATICS” ELIMINATING BRITISH FLEET (United Press Assn.—Ulec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 26 The Copenhagen correspondent of the Daily Express says the duration of the war is merely a matter of mathematics according to the Nazis, who claim the Britisn fleet can be eliminated at the rate of five battleships a month. With the whole fleet sunk the war would be as good as over.

The Nazis say that to sink one battleship costs them roughly 200 aeroplanes. A battleship takes three years to build whereas Germany can produce 1000 aeroplanes a month.
