GRAIN AND PRODUCE
PRICES IN AUCKLAND (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Following is the official market report issued by the Auckland Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants’ Association. Prices named are f.o.r. or f.0.b., Auckland:— Potatoes.—The market for South Island reds and whites eased during the week, the current price, delivered city or f.o.b. Auckland, being £l7 10s a ton. The Canadian potatoes are being offered at 18s a bag and 19s 6d a crate, each of 1001 b. Onions.—Californian onions are still selling freely and prices remain
unaltered at 20s a cental bag. Wheat.—Business has been, if anything, rather quiet, ex store values remaining unaltered at 7s 3d to 7s 4d a bushel, according to quantity. Barley.—Through store values remain unaltered at 4s 6d to 4s 8d a bushel for unclipped, with clipped 6d a bushel higher. Maize.—Current ex store prices remain at 7s 3d to 7s 5d a bushel, while 10-sack lots, delivery direct, ex supplies arriving, are 7s a bushel. Oats and Chaff.—A steady demand for oats and chaff has continued, values remaining unaltered, with j chaff at £lO 2s 6d to £lO 10s a ton. , and oats at 4s 2d to 4s 6d a bushel.
