30 BOMBS DROPPED
MANY EXPLOSIONS HEARD FLAT DENIAL BY GERMANY FLIGHT OVER SWITZERLAND (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 26, 1 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 25 The Romanshorn correspondent of the American Press says that listeners judged that 30 bombs were dropped, and say that tracer bullets were fired from anti-aircraft guns. The Swiss authorities are inquiring whether their territory was violated. It is not known what damage was inflicted, or whether any planes were shot tlown. BERLIN, Sept. 25 The High Command flatly denies that the Zeppelin base was raided. BERNE, Sept. 25 A Swiss General Staff communique announces that the air attack was apparently delivered on the evening of September 24 on the Zeppelin base at Friedrichshafen. Bomb explosions and anti-aircraft fine were heard. An unknown plane flew up the German side of the Rhine, and crossed Switzerland near Schaffhausen, encountering Swiss anti-aircraft fire. ■P*jT
