FATAL COLLISION

CAR DRIVER KILLED FIVE PASSENGERS HURT (Special to Times) WANGANUI, Monday Mr James Haggart, aged 42, of Bonny Glen, was killed when his car collided with another on the main highway near the Warrengate turnoff. Mrs Haggart and four children who were passengers were all injured. The car was greatly damaged, wreckage being strewn over the road for many yards. Later a car driven by Mr S. Dustin, Wanganui, capsized in some rubble about half-a-mile from the Warrengate turn-off. Mr Dustin was slightly injured, but Mrs Dustin had to receive medical attention.
