MATAMATA BULL SALE The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their grade bull sale at Matamata on Monday, when a full entry of all breeds came forward. Competition from a full bench of buyers was keen and practically the whole entry changed hands at satisfactory values. Realisations were: 3-year pedigree Ayrshire bulls, 24£ gns; 2-year pedigree Ayrshire bulls, 12 to 15 gns; yearling pedigree Ayrshire bulls, 9 to 13 gns; 2-year pedigree Jersey bulls, 16 to 20 gns; others, 10 to 134 gns; yearling pedigree Jersey bulls, 15 to 20 gns; others, 8 to 12£ gns. Grade 3-year Shorthorn bulls, £lO to £l2 10s; grade 2-year Shorthorn bulls, £6 10s to £8 10s; pedigree yearling Shorthorn bulls, 6 to 8 gns; smaller, 4 to 5 gns. Grade 3 and 4-year Jersey bulls, £9 10s to £l2; best grade 2-year Jersey bulls, £ls 10s to £lB 10s; others, £8 10s to £l2 10s; grade yearling Jersey bulls, £7 to £8 ss; others, £5 2s 6d to £6 12s 6d; smaller, £3 15s to £4 15s. Yearling Ayrshire bulls. £4 to £5 ss; heavy potter bulls, £7 15s to £8 15s; lighter, £4 10s to £6.
