Bargains picked up at a sale of household linens are often soiled at the folds. These marks can be removed by rubbing with French chalk, leaving for a day, and brushing out. If the chalk is moistened and applied as a paste to mudstains on light fabrics, the stains can usually be removed. Allow to dry before brushing
