SURGEONS IN CONFERENCE
ADDRESS BY NEW ZEALANDER MAORI'EMBLEM PRESENTED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) HONOLULU, Sept. 25 The Pan-Pacific Surgical Congress ended with an address by the president, Dr. J. Hardie Neil, of Auckland, on the history of early medical education in the Pacific. Dr. Peter Buck, on behelf of New Zealand throat surgeons, presented Dr. Chevalier Jackson with a Maori emblem of leadership. Dr. Jackson was also presented with a boomerang by Australian members of the profession. Dr Reichert, of San Francisco, was elected president and Dr. Dawson, of Dunedin, and Mr H. Poate, of Sydney, vice-presidents.
