LITTLE CHANGE
VALUES AT FRANKTON COW BEEF IN GOOD REQUEST Price changes favoured buyers at the weekly Frankton stock sale today, when average entries were forward in all departments. Ox beef appeared a little easier, but there was no apparent alteration for cow and heifer beef. Extra heavy prime steers made £ls 11s to £l7 5s and heavy prime from £l3 15s to £ls ss. Competition was keen right through the cow and heifer beef sale, with extra heavy sorts realising from £ll 5s to £l3, and the top bid £l3 15s. The price per 1001 b for cow and heifer beef remained the same. Fat sheep were on offer in lighter numbers, and over the early sales competition was hardly as keen. An average entry of fat pigs sold to a good bench of buyers at values much the same.
