The French penetration of German territory has halted, in order to consolidate the gains. The German divisions on this front are estimated to total 300,000 men, excluding the motorised divisions. AIRCRAFT DEVELOPMENT GERMANY LEADS WORLD WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 It is announced that the second of the Government’s aeronautical research laboratories, costing 10,000,000 dollars, is being established near Sunnyvale, in California.
