GREATER LEGIBILITY

WAIKATO TIMES TYPE FACE MOST MODERN DESIGN CHOSEN Readers of the Waikato Times today will note a considerable change in the appearance of the paper, caused by the introduction of a new type face. The aim is improved legibility. In this regard readers of the Waikato Times have the advantage of the most modem type, and that in which the designers take the greatest pride. Known as “Excelsior,” the type has character and characteristics tailored perfectly for the newspaper it will clothe. Well filled letters that now into one another and uniform distribution of white space within and around each letter add to reading ease. It is a type designed to give the greatest degree of legibility and attractive appearance and to suit readers of all ages.
