Round Up, arter running his flrst two furlongs in 25 3-5 s and three in 38 l-ss, covered six in 1.18 2-5. Brazilian and Birthday Boy completed a similar distance in i. 20 3-ss. Proud Fox was two lengths in front or Tahiti at the conclusion or five furlongs in 1.6 3-ss. the last three in 40 3-ss. Hunting Bee and High Sea were together at the end or nve rurlongs in 1.6. Gamos and Te Kawiti ran live forlongo in 1.2. Both went well and they could have improved on the time. Marie's Acre and Philcourt covered five rurlongs in 1.7 l-ss, finishing together, with the latter showing more dash than usual. Plueron and Milanion were on terms at the nnish or nve rurlongs in 1.4 3-5, the last three in 40s. Tellsom’t Useful Half-mile Tellsom ran hair a mile In 535, doing it easily. First Gold Money was responsible for a good hair-mile, recording 525, Vallmeen covering the same ground easily in 535. Mazir hit out well over six rurlongs in 1.18. He pulled up well and may race at Paeroa on the second day. Flood Tide traversed nve furlongs on the plough, the last hair-mile in 53 l-ss. Glen Connell completed his work by traversing the last three rurlongs easily in 41 2-ss. Princess Val was three lengths in Tront of Inver at the conclusion of seven furlongs in 1.31. This was a smart effort Tor a novice as she ran her first two in 25 3-ss, and the flrst half-mile in 51s.
