8000 AEROPLANES
HALF OF THEM BOMBERS STRENGTH OF GERMANY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 22 A correspondent of the London paper Auto says Germany since January has manufactured between 10,000 and 11,000 aeroplane engines. Allowing for losses in Poland, Germany should be reckoned as having 8000 front-line aeroplanes, at least half of which are bombers.
