LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

VERY LARGE ATTENDANCE The September meeting of the Hamilton branch of the League of Mothers w r as held recently, Mrs R. Street presiding over a large attendance. Very enjoyable items were rendered by the following:—Recitations, Mrs Arthur Fow; songs, Mrs Hill; items by the league choir. An Interesting demonstration of bouquet-making was given by Mrs Clarke, members following her work with close interest. The wiring of the flowers and each step taken was fully explained. The beautiful finished bouquet, in the league colours, Mrs Clarke presented to Mrs Street, amid much applause. Afternoon tea served by the committee brought an interesting and enjoyable afternoon to a close.
