SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Walkato-Thames Valley is as follows: General situation: Pressure Is high to the north and south-west, but a depression in the Tasman extends across the middle or the Dominion. Forecast: Light but freshening north-east to north winds, possibly changing to south-west tomorrow. Weather lair, mild and humid at first, but conditions later becoming unsettled. Seas slight to moderate.
