PIAKO ASSOCIATION CLUBS IN SOUTH SECTION (Special to Times) MATAM AT A, Th urs day. The annuaL general meeting or the South Section of Hie Plako Cricket Association was held last night, all aniliated clubs being represented. Fight teams competed in the competition last season, stated the annual re> port, llinuera being the winners. The Howler shield for •l<nock-out competition was won by Wardville. The balancesheet disclosed a satisfactory position, with a credit balance or £l7, assets valued at £lls, and liabilities only 6s. Election of Officers The rollowing officers were elected: Patron, Mr F. Montague; president, Mr J. Tapper: vice-presidents. Messrs J. Cranswick. H. Mitherland, jun., 8. Barker, c. E. Barry. T. limit. R. J. Larkin, w. A.vre* and Father .silk; secretary. Mr W. H Jones; treasurer, Mr H. Johnston; executive. Messrs A. Hughes ( Wardville), T. Hunt (Okauia), T. Grey 'Waharoa), S. Brooks (Gordon). A. Wright (Wairere). Mac Simpson Old Boys); delegates to Piako Association. .Messrs W. H. Jones, F. Montague, s. Brooks. In order* to allow a maximum playing time each Saturday it was decided that no luncheon adjournment be made during the corning season.
