SIGN OF SOLIDARITY
PAN-AMERICAN CONFERENCE SALE OF FREIGHTERS ALLOWED f (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 21, 11 a.m.) CRISTOBAL, Sept. 20
It is reliably stated that the United States has consented to the sale to Brazil of fourteen privately-owned United States freighters. This is considered to be an expression of the United States desire to let action instead of words demonstrate the solidarity of the Americas at the Pan-American Conference, at which the United States delegation arrived to-day.
