MOBILE HOSPITAL
SCHEME IN HAMILTON TRAILER ALREADY ORDERED Such has been the success of the Initial appeal for funds for a mobile hospital trailer, sponsored by St. Peter's Cathedral, that the committee has already placed the order with a Hamilton firm for the building of the unit. The suggestion emanated from the Dean of Hamilton, the Very Rev. T. P. Weatherhog, and already £69 16s has been donated, while a number of Hamilton business firms have donated parts for the new trailer. Donations are still required and will be received at the Waikato Times Office and will be acknowledged through the paper. The following donations are acknowledged:—Diocesan School and Anon, £10; Dean Weatherhog, Mr H. G. Sergei, Mr W. Cann and the Hamilton Club, £5; Mr R. English, and Waikato Racing Club, £3 3s; Mrs H. C. Ross and Anon., £2 2s; Messrs Whitford-Erson, Mr N. H. Hooker, M., Mr P. Reid, Mr J. R. Henderson and Rev. P. Sergei, £2; Mrs Dingle, Mrs Jones, St. Peter’s Choir, Mr Gibb, H. C. Ross, £1 Is; Mrs Mears, £1; Anon and Mrs Davis, 10s. The following firms have donated parts for the trailer:—Messrs J. J. Niven and Company, Ltd., A. H. Franks, Mullan and Noy, Ebbett Motors, Booth and Chapman, F. Bullock, Hamilton Hardware, Burgoyne Hardware Service, Ltd., Carrick Nisbet, Hamilton Motor Body Builders, E.E. Company, Maorirand Timber Company, Armstrong Motors, S. T. Nolan, A. E. deLacey, and Smith and Smith.
