PLUNKET SOCIETY

ANNUAL FLOWER DAY Tomorrow the annual flower day of the Hamilton Plunket Society will be held, when stalls of flowers, plants, jams, home-ma.de cakes, etc., will be erected in front of the Hamilton Library, Victoria Street.

“This will be a day when the users of the society’s services can show their appreciation of the helpful assistance given by the nurses,” said the president, Airs N. E. Blocnfleld, today. “Our commitments are £SOO a year, a third of which is given by the Government. Therefore we have to raise two-thirds of this amount, which means that we have to depend on our committee and on our annual subscribers, many of whom derive no benefit from Plunket services.”
