DEATH FROM GUN WOUND
ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE (Special to Times) AUCKLAND. Wednesday Captain Donald McTavish McCrone, aged 53. of Remuera, was getting out of his ear carrying a loaded gun, at Mount Wellington on Saturday, when he slipped and fell. The weapon discharged and the contents struck Captain McCrone in the face, inflicting injuries which resulted in his death in hospital yesterday. COLLAPSE IN STREET (Special to Times) AUCKLAND. Wednesday Mr George Edward Williams, aged 60. a labourer, collapsed in the street, and died later. An inquest was opened yesterday, when the coroner ordered a post mortem examination.
