FAREWELL AFTERNOON
MRS E. C. SARE HONOURED Mrs T. A. Burtenshaw and Mrs C. SutclifTe were hostesses at the home of Mrs Burtenshaw on Monday at a delightful afternoon to bid farewell to Mrs E. C. >Sare, who leaves next week to reside in Wellington. The rooms were artistically arranged with bowls of s*pring flowers, tinted lilies and stock and the guests were happily entertained in playing bridge, the winners being Mrs E. C. Sare and Mrs 11. J. Greenslade. Mrs Burtenshaw was wearing a gown of black marquisette and Mrs Sutcliffe wore a honey and tobacco brown striped angora frock. Those present were:— Mesdames J. Gordon Smith, H. J.
