LINER DAMAGED
TAKEN IN TOW FOR SALVAGE MOST OF CREW RESCUED (United Press Assn.—Elec. TeL Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 19 The 10,900-ton steamer City of Paris, belonging to Ellerman Lines, Limited, was damaged on Saturday night and has been taken in tow for salvage. All except one of the crew of 138 got away in the boats and were picked up. The City of Paris is in the service between London and South African ports.
