LONDON, Sept. 19 The trawlers Lord Minto and Arlita were submarined. The crew* were rescued. Several merchantmen eluded submarine attackers, including the Rothesay Castle, the Baharistan and the Baron Luvat. •one hundred and fifty American Mirvhwr* ol' the liner Atheiha and seventy other Americans left Glasgow aboard the Orizaba, which was specially chartered by tbe United States Government. The ship bears huge American flags port and starboard and is flood-lit every night. Many children are aboard. BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 19 The newspaper Critic says lour German submarines surrounded two Argentina battleships la6t week off the Brazilian coast. They vanished after identifying the warships. NEW YORK, Sept. 19 The Exchange Agency’s Reykjavik correspondent says that a German submarine landed two injured, after which it was ordered to depart.
