Bennett beat Mrs Fall well, 3 2; Mrs L. Day beat Mrs O’Connor, 5—4; Mrs Rawlings beat Mrs Brewls, 6 —5; Mrs McDonald beat Mrs Batt, 9—7. Second Round.—Mrs Seyb beat Mrs Groeot, 4—3; Mrs Arthur beat Mrs Mander, 1 up at the 19th; Mrs Bennett beat Mrs L. Day, 1 up; Mrs McDonald beat Mrs Rawlings, 3 —l. The first two rounds or the Junior competition resulted as fallows:— First Round.—Miss McLean beat Mrs Darby, 6—5; Mrs Dent beat Mr<* Russell, 2—l; Mrs Jewell won from Mrs Peterson by derault; Mrs Toombs beat Mrs Bell, i up at the 19th; Mrs Edwards beat Mrs Mark, 2 up; Mrs Melvin beat Miss Bruce, 2 up; Mrs Ambury beat Mrs Kilner, 2 up; Mrs Berry beat Mrs Coldwell, 4 and 3. Second Round.—Miss McLean beat Mrs Dent, 6—5; Mrs Toombs beat Mrs Jewell at the 19th; Mrs Edwards beat Mrs Melvin. 3—2; Mrs Ambury beat Mrs Berry, 2—l. The Gillies Vase results were as follows: First Round.—Mrs Simons beat Mrs Hooker, 4—3; Mrs C. Mac Diarmid beat Mrs Svenson, 6—5; Mrs F. Taylor beat Mrs Edmonds, ft— 1: Mrs Pearson beat Mrs Booth. 4—3; Mrs Dingle beat Miss Turnwald. 5—4; Miss Wright beat Miss Wordsworth, 1 up at 19th; Mrs James beat Mrs Hallett. 2 up; Mre Signal won Trom Mr* Sole by default.
