FALSE GERMAN STATEMENT DEVOID OF ALL FOUNDATION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 18, 1 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 17 1 In a recent German broadcast the Paris correspondent of the independence Beige is cited as saying that the Ministry of Information had recently 1 announced the British war aims as being : j. (1) The complete restoration of Poland; i"2) the complete, restoration of Czechoslovakia and the rectification of frontiers; (3) the restoration of Austria under tne rule of the Emperor Otto of Hapsburg, to include the | Catholic province of Germany, Bavaria 1 and the Rhine provinces. An examination of the independence Beige article shows that the German allegation is, like much German news of this kind, completely devoid of ail [ foundation.
