PEDESTRIANS INJURED

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR TWO MAORIS IN HOSPITAL Two Marois, Mr Tonga Moke, aged 21, and Whakaara Tahana, aged 9, received injuries which necessitated their admission to the Waikato Hospital when they were struck from behind by a car while walking along the main south road near Horotiu on Saturday night. The condition of Mr Moke, who has head injuries, is not serious. Tahana received a fractured left arm and his condition to-day is stated to be satisfactory. With another Maori the victims of the accident were walking to Ngaruawahia when the car ran Into them. The injured man and boy were taken to hospital in a St. John Ambulance.
