ARTIFICIAL RUBBER
USE FOR PETROLEUM GAS DISCOVERY IN UNITED STATES (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) BOSTON, Sept. 16 An economic method of converting petroleum waste gases into essential raw material for the synthesis of rubber is reported by f.ie American Chemical Society. The process is described as the much-sought missing link in the making of artificial rubber and is said to be most important industrially and commercially and for military purposes.
